The residency of the Italian Embassy in Tirana has opened its doors to the exposition “Visione di confini” (17 October –  31 December 2018). As the title suggests, the theme of this exposition is the artistic bond between the two countries, beautifully represented with artworks of authors who have received an education based on the Italian school of Fine Arts.
Ibrahim Kodra, Lin Delija, Vangjush Mio, Foto Stamo and Abdurrahim Buza are among the 13 artists to participate. One of them is also Guri Madhi, who has attended the Italian technical school of Korca (Scuola Tecnica Italiana) for three years (1934-1936), specialising in the discipline of drawing. He would later continue his education in the Academy of Saint Petersburg in Russia (1951-1956).
The displayed Guri Madhi’s artworks are 5:
-Woman wearing a traditional dress from Korça (1956)
-Abstraction (1961)
-Composition (1966)
-When we can’t go to the stadium (1986)
-The student (1988)
