Exhibition in GAT: Artworks on paper
On March 7, 2023, an exhibition with 53 works on paper was opened in the Tirana Art Gallery (GAT). These artworks cover the period from 1937 to 1988. The techniques used are oil paint, pen, carbon, pastel, and pencil. Several portraits of the pre-academic periods and drawings made during the studies at the academy were exhibited. Daily life occupies a place in the exhibition, with drawings of family members, beach vacations, and portraits.
Additionally, artworks with epic and historic themes were showcased, as a pre-preparation of the painter’s most popular works. Especially the ones from the period between 1962 and 1968 are created in an abstract style.
The works produced during the painter’s travels in Kosovo could not be missing, where inspired by nature and people, the author reveals a part of his art.
