Exhibition in Pisa: Sorelle oltre il mare

For the first time, Guri Madhi’s artwork was exhibited in a personal exhibition in the historic town of Pisa, Italy. “Sorelle oltre il mare” or in English, sisters across the sea, perfectly summarizes the theme of the exhibit. Portraits and compositions of Albanian women were selected to constitute the ensemble of 30 artworks in oil, pencil and pastels. The exhibition was realized with the support of Comune di Pisa, especially Mr. Pierpaolo Magnani (assesore di cultura di Comune di Pisa) and the municipality of Tirana, Albania. The exhibition was opened from 28 November 2022 until 20 December 2022 in the communial library of Pisa.
